Robyn R. Noll Memorial Scholarships

There are two scholarships available for students who wish to pursue a career in nursing and journalism. The nursing scholarship was set up in 2000 to honor the late Robyn R. Noll, a long-time second-homeowner of Mammoth Lakes and a well-respected and dedicated nurse. This scholarship is awarded to a student in good academic standing, who will begin their higher education at the Mammoth campus of the Eastern Sierra College Center and who shows a financial need for assistance.The scholarship in journalism was more recently set up in 2004 and both consist of a one-time award of $1,000 for payment of books and fees. The recipient must be enrolled as a full-time student (12 or more units) at the Mammoth campus.

Chuck Tallman Scholarship

A scholarship was recently set up in memory of Chuck Tallman, husband of Roxanne who loved the sport of ski racing. The scholarship is open to any local resident of Mono county who is pursuing the sport of ski racing and their Associate degree at the Mammoth Campus of Cerro Coso Community College. Financial assistance covers tuition fees and books for a semester.
