Gulf Coast Avionics Scholarship to Fox Valley Tech

Available to students who plan to or are attending Fox Valley Technical College in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in the avionics program. Applicants must be currently enrolled or plan to enroll in the avionics program. Scholarships are awarded without regard to sex, race, creed, religion, age or country of origin. All scholarships are based on merit with restrictions. Scholarship applicants must have at least a 3.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 point scale) to apply for a scholarship. Selection factors include expression of mechanical ability, aviation interests, class attendance, motivation, technical aptitude, scholastic record, responsibility, and commitment to the aviation industry. Scholarships do not apply to pilot training, instrument ratings, or air traffic control programs.

Judith Gruszynske Memorial Scholarship

Special Qualifications: • Must be a 4-H member for 5 years • Must have exhibited at the Winnebago County Fair • Must have displayed an active leadership roleRequirements:# ACTOther Requirements: • Must achieve a 2.0 GPA or higher after first semester of college.

Mary E. Forbes Scholarship

Richard A. Meyer Memorial Scholarship

Special Qualifications: • Parent is law enforcement officer in any department of Winnebago County.Requirements:TranscriptsACT or SATOther Requirements: • Student must pursue a service career such as law enforcement, teaching, nursing, criminal justice, etc. • Applicant must have community service, and hold at least a part-time job.

Winnebago County Board Scholarship

Special Qualifications: • Application must be accompanied by an essay from 500 to 800 words addressing 'If you were to run for any Winnebago County office, what office would you run for, why, and what would your platform be?"Requirements:# TranscriptsOther Requirements: • Statement from parent/guardian, teacher or school principle must accompany each entry attesting that, to the best of his/her knowledge, the essay was written unaided.

Winnebago County Farm Bureau Scholarship #2
