MusicAuthority’s Annual Music Lovers Scholarship

MusicAuthority recognizes the positive impact that music can have on a student’s learning experience. Studies have shown how music can enhance learning- from improving memory performance to relieving anxiety, music can be a great component to aid a student’s college experience. We are proud to offer our $1,000 scholarship to one current or prospective student. We will be offering this scholarship on a continual basis and we are excited to promote a passion for music and higher education.

Blue Seal Feeds Inc. Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY: Pursuing a four-year degree in animal science or marketing at Cornell University, Penn State University or Virginia Tech. Resident of Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or Virginia required.AWARD: Two scholarships at $1,000 each, non-renewable.

Clubs of America

Eligible students will: Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about their career aspirations and how their current course load will help them achieve success in their careers. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged! Email their essay as a .doc or .pdf attachment to: scholarship@greatclubs.com YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)

The Maxson P. Strub Scholarship

Each year the Warren Township Lions Club offers scholarships to Warren Students that will be attending a college in the fall. The scholarships are based on financial need and are selected by a committee of Lions club members. The Maxson P. Strub Scholarship - awarded to a deserving student that has proven to be an outstanding citizen and one that is dedicated to community service. This award is named after Maxson P. Strub who was also a member of the Warren Lions Club as well as a past International Director for Lions International. Students interested in the Warren Lions Club scholarship should contact David Peterson, Director of Guidance at Watchung Hills Regional High School.

The Furer-Barag-Wolf Post 126 Jewish War Veterans Post Scholarship Fund

The Jewish War Veterans Post 126 Scholarship Fund provides scholarship assistance to children or grandchildren of current or deceased members of the JWV Post 126.Assistance will be based upon need or merit for students currently enrolled or applying to attend an accredited college or university at the undergraduate or graduate level.Those eligible shall be relatives of those JWV members residing in the Burlington, Camden or Gloucester Counties currently or during their lifetime. RULES: 1. The JWV Scholarship Committee shall determine the recipient of the award based upon the following criteria listed in order of priority:? Grade Point Average? Community service? Special acts of honors? Military service? Other extraordinary need 2. Award period is one year 3. Applicant may apply for an unlimited number of years 4. The award is limited to tuition, books and room and board 5. Applicants must provide the following materials:? Resume including CGPA and SAT scores? Transcripts? Two letters of recommendation? Applicants may also be asked to participate in an interview6. Parent or Guardian must complete Scholarship Financial Application form

Freda & Sam Yacker Israel Experience Award

Essay Competition For post High School Israel study programs at a university, yeshiva, or recognized program. TOPIC: In a 500-word essay, reflect on the way your Jewish community has contributed to your life so far. Describe what you feel your role will be as an adult in contributing to the vibrancy of your Jewish community into the future, and how will your upcoming Israel experience help you to grow into the role you foresee for yourself. RULES: 1. The Freda and Sam Yacker contest is open to Jewish students 18-25 years of age who live in Camden, Gloucester, or Burlington Counties. 1. Essays should be two to five pages, one sided, double spaced in 12-point font with 1 inch margins. 2. Content, style, and attention to spelling and grammar are all important elements. 3. Do not include identifying details about your synagogue, school, rabbi, name or family members in the body of your essay. 4. Any outside sources quoted should be properly cited. 5. All essays should be accompanied with a Scholarship Application Cover Sheet and Special Scholarship Application Form. 6. Essays will be judged by a panel of experts from the local Jewish community. The Robert L. Schattner Scholarship Award

The Robert L. Schattner Scholarship is for Jewish students residing in Burlington, Camden or Gloucester Counties who plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in a college or university degree-related program. Priority will be given to students pursuing degree programs in a health or business related field. Students must demonstrate financial need. RULES: 1. Applicant must have a 2.5 minimum grade point average 2. Include all extra-curricular activities applicant is involved with including: participation in religious, civic and/or community organizations, athletics, and/or employment experience 3. Applicant must demonstrate financial need 4. Parent or Guardian must complete the Scholarship Financial Application 5. Award period is one year 6. Current recipients of this scholarship may re-apply 7. Scholarship may be used for tuition and books or room and board 8. Applicants must provide the following materials: □ Special Scholarship Application Form □ Most recent official transcript with GPA and SAT scores □ Personal statement describing your involvement in the Jewish community, extracurricular activities, honors and awards (as indicated in Special Scholarship Application Form) □ Parent/Guardians’ most recently signed 1040 □ Two letters of recommendation from source other than a family member

Thomas E. and Linda O. Baker Family Foundation Scholarship

Activia Training Annual Scholarship Award

Activia Training are pleased to offer a $1,500 annual scholarship for college, university, high school or trade school students in the US. There is no specific course of study required, and you can use the money in whatever way that you feel benefits your studies the most. There will be two scholarship awards of $750 each year, awarded in November and May as follows: - The video winner will receive $500 - The essay format winner will receive $250 Furthermore, all entries adjudged to be of a suitable standard will be eligible for an “expenses award” as follows: - YouTube videos: $20 - Blog articles: $15 To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be at least 16 years of age and attending, or have secured a place, at a college, university, high school or trade school in the US. Scholarship assistance is available to American Baptist Women who have been members of an American Baptist Church in New Jersey for at least five years. Award amounts vary, based on need and on the recipient

SelectSpace Scholarship

Selectspace scholarship At SelectSpace Partitions, we are proud to offer a scholarship program for students in the process of pursuing a college degree. The awarded student will receive $500 to be used towards expenses for his or her degree. Who may apply? U.S. citizens accepted to or currently attending a college or university within the United States. The winner will be required to provide proof of acceptance to your college or university, or a college transcript. Deadline: Applications must be submitted via the web form by November 30. Next Steps: The award recipient will be notified of the selection on or around December 31. The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $500 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.
