The Joe Bonamassa Blues Guitar Scholarship (sponsored by the Keeping The Blues Alive Foundation) was created in honor of legendary Blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa to directly encourage and support the educational growth of a Blues guitar student at MI.
The scholarship will be awarded in the Spring to an intermediate or advanced student (U.S. or non-U.S. citizens) AA or B.M. or M.M. Performance (Guitar) program who demonstrates overall outstanding musicianship, passion for the instrument and the potential for developing their own individual sound or unique voice on the instrument in the Blues genre.
