Scholarship Description
Recipients of an EastCliff Foundation Scholarship are selected using a variety of criteria including scholastic achievement and extra curricular activities. The minimum requirements for eligibility are a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrated financial need. Each high school’s Scholarship Committee or Scholarship Coordinator selects qualified applicants for an EastCliff Foundation Scholarship and forwards them to the Foundation for review. In addition to the information provided by the student in their local scholarship application, a personal statement or essay is helpful in evaluating the student prior to being interviewed. The foundation also requires a copy of the parent’s most recent IRS Form 1040 filing, and the student’s high school transcript.A copy of the student’s Federal Application for Student Aid (F.A.F.S.A.) is also helpful.
