Scholarship Description

The Daughters of the Cincinnati gives college scholarships to the daughters of career commissioned officers of the United States armed services.  Founded in 1894 by descendants of George Washington’s officers, the organization has given scholarships to officers’ daughters for over a hundred years.  Selection is based on both merit and financial need.  Scholarships are given for four years at the college of the candidate’s choice.
