Scholarship Description
Established in memory of a young Grand Haven police officer, this fund offers educational assistance to local students pursuing careers in the fields of law enforcement and/or criminal justice.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a competitive process which considers financial need, academic achievement, extra-curricular activities, educational goals and personal aspirations. The community foundation’s Board of Trustees has final approval of scholarship recommendations made by the foundation’s Scholarship Committee or the advisory committees of certain scholarship funds. Scholarship amounts vary based on annual income available from each fund.
