Scholarship Description
To be considered, you must: - Document financial need of at least $1,500 by completing either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) of the Family Financial Service form of the ACT; - Be enrolled into an accredited dental hygiene program in the United States; - Have completed a minimum of one year in a dental hygiene curriculum prior to receiving an award; - Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for the time you have been enrolled in a dental hygiene curriculum; - Be a full-time student during the academic year for which you are applying. Awarded to members of a minority group(s) currently underrepresented in dental hygiene programs. Eligible applicants include African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans, and males. Two scholarships will be awarded in this category.
