Scholarship Description
Scholarships are available to eligible Indian students under the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program. The amount of the award is based on need. The student must be one fourth or more Indian ancestry; a resident of Minnesota and a member of a federally recognized Indian tribe or eligible for enrollment in a tribe; a high school graduate or have a GED; able to benefit from advanced education; accepted by an approved college, university, or vocational school in Minnesota, and approved by the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Committee. Awards average $1,450 per year. Funds are available for undergraduates enrolled full-time and graduate students, enrolled either full or part-time.
