Scholarship Description
Each year the GCA Awards for the Summer Environmental Studies provide financial aid toward summer studies (field work or research) in the environmental field for college students following their freshman, sophomore, or junior year. The scholarships encourage young men and women who are interested in furthering their studies and careers in the field of ecology and offer an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience beyond the regular course of study. Work may award academic credit but should be in addition to required courses.
