Scholarship Description
A student may apply if enrolled in the last three years of a B.S. or Pharm.D. program in a U.S. college of pharmacy, has a demonstrated interest in, and potential for, a career in any of the pharmaceutical sciences, and will be enrolled for at least one full academic year following the award of the scholarship. U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required. Number of awards and stipends: Twelve (12) at $5,000: $5,000 is provided for a research project. The $5,000 may be used for any purpose decided by the awardee and faculty sponsor that will enable the student to have a successful program - e.g. student stipend, laboratory supplies or materials related to the project, travel, etc. None of the funds shall be used for indirect costs by the institution.
