Scholarship Description
Graduates of high schools within Shelby County or residents of any public school district within Shelby County pursuing a certificate or an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in medical and health professions. Eligible persons may apply during any year of their education.
Selection based upon (in order of priority): Financial need; academic ability; demonstrated community and school service, and recommendations.
Must have a cumulative gpa of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Individuals who have not been enrolled in high school or a post-secondary program within the last two years need not comply with this requirement.
Awards for 2015: Two $1,200 scholarships.
