Scholarship Description
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:
• Be an ASCP student member
• Be enrolled in a NAACLS- or CAAHEPaccredited laboratory science program AND be in the final clinical year of education
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.8 out of 4.0
• Be a United States citizen OR a permanent resident of the United States
• Submit a complete application packet
(GPA must be recorded in Section E)

Scholarship awards of $1,000 are available for students in their final year of study in one of the following NAACLS-accredited programs:
Cytogenetics Technologist (CG)
Cytotechnologist (CT)
Histotechnician (HT)
Histotechnologist (HTL)
Molecular Biology Technologist (MB)
Medical Laboratory Technician/Clinical Laboratory Technician (MLT/CLT)
Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist (MLS/MT/CLS)
Pathologists’ Assistants (PA)
