Scholarship Description
Eligibility
Students who have completed at least one full year towards a Radiologic Technology degree at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College or Southwestern Community College.
Selection Criteria
Must be a full-time student in the Radiologic Technology Program who has completed the course requirements through the third (spring) quarter of the program. Must intend to complete requirements for the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Radiologic Technology, or to have already earned this degree and intend to complete an advanced degree in Radiologic Technology.
Must have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement and clinical abilities, and achieved a cumulative 3.0 or better grade point average in courses required for graduation from the program as completed at the time of application. A copy of the applicant’s transcript must be submitted with the application, personal statement and letters of recommendation.
Must demonstrate personal qualities important to the profession of Radiologic Technology.
Must demonstrate financial need determined by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
