Scholarship Description
In 2010, the GFOAs executive board voted to create the Government Finance Professional Development Scholarship to support the studies of part-time students with a career interest in state and local government finance. The Government Finance Professional Development Scholarship competition is for graduate students who have been admitted on a part-time basis to a graduate program in public administration, finance, business administration or a related field. Four scholarships of $7,000 each are available.
