Scholarship Description
The AIWA Duffett Scholarships in varying amounts were made possible through a bequest from Ethel Jafarian Duffett, a survivor of the Genocide and a pioneering career woman.
Qualifications
The scholarships are awarded to full-time female students of Armenian descent attending accredited colleges or universities..
Students entering their junior or senior year in college, as well as graduate students, are eligible to apply for the awards.
Awards are based on financial need and merit. Due to the large number of applications, the scholarships have sometimes been divided among multiple recipients.
