Scholarship Description
The Duane Roberts Scholarship was established in memory of Duane Roberts, a Kalamazoo Public Schools graduate, community activist, and KPS Board of Education member, to provide scholarship support to KPS minority students.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Kalamazoo Central High School, Loy Norrix High School or Kalamazoo Public Schools alternative high school senior or graduate of KPS; minority; demonstrate a commitment to social justice. Planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year college/university as either a full-time or part-time student in an undergraduate or graduate program. Able to demonstrate financial need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
