Scholarship Description
The Crenshaw Award was funded from proceeds of the 1999 Ouimet Fund Annual Banquet and is named after Ben’s father, Charlie, who died a few weeks after the dinner. Mr. Crenshaw was an attorney in Austin, Texas and a lifelong golfer.To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must have completed at least two years service to golf as caddies, helpers in the pro shop, or course superintendent operations at a club in Massachusetts. The awards are “need-based” and assist with tuition at accredited undergraduate institutions.
