Scholarship Description
On March 14, 2007, Auxiliary Police Officers Nicholas Pekearo and Eugene Marshalik were gunned down on a Greenwhich Village Street while chasing down a deranged criminal who had just killed a local restaurant worker.The family of Auxiliary Police Officer Marsahalik established the scholarship to honor his memory. Two Auxiliary officers will each be awarded a four year scholarship at a CUNY school.
