Scholarship Description
The Latino Diamante Awards are presented each year, to honor individuals or organizations that are making significant contributions to the Latino/Hispanic community of North Carolina. It also honors outstanding Latinos/Hispanics whose success helps to enhance the image of the Latino/Hispanic community.
YOUTH ACCOMPLISHMENT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Recognizes individual contributions and achievements of Latino/Hispanic youth in North Carolina. The nominee must be a High School graduating senior/incoming freshman or sophomore student in College/University attending a North Carolina institution of higher learning. Must present a letter of recommendation from your High School Principal, College Counselor or a community leader; present a certified copy of school transcripts with a minimum C+ or 2.5 grade point average; and be at least 50% of Hispanic/Latino descent.
