Scholarship Description
In 1998 John and Linda Lynch established the Lynch Family Legacy Scholarships to benefit student-athletes. Through the scholarship program, the Lynch family provides financial assistance for high school senior student-athletes in the Tampa Bay and Denver areas to apply towards tuition at the college of their choice.Scholarship applicants are chosen based on their academic performance, athletic accomplishments and community involvement. They also must submit an essay and 3 letters of recommendation. Financial need is also considered. To date, $271,000 has been awarded to high school seniors through these scholarships.Please be sure you meet the following requirements:- Must be a varsity student-athlete (participated in a varsity sport during senior year)- Must attend a Denver metro area public school or private school- Must have minimum GPA of 3.0- Scholarship chosen based on academics, athletics, community involvement (financial need also considered)- Must be used towards tuition at a four-year university
