Scholarship Value: $2,500 Classifications: Open Minimum GPA: 2.5 Eligible Majors: Open Eligible Schools: Miles College, Oakwood College, Stillman College, Talladega College, Tuskegee University Eligible Locations: Alabama Scholarship Detail: The Community Services is a service learning project designed to increase community awareness among Central Alabama student residents enrolled in Alabama UNCF Member Institutions. The programs mission is to give students a more in depth perspective on the issues and needs of their communities and to encourage them to seek viable solutions to community problems. The candidates must be a permanent resident within Central Alabama. The scholarship will be restricted to Jefferson, Shelby, Walker, Blount and St. Clair Counties.
