# Scholarship Type: Merit/Need-based. # Eligibility Criteria: This scholarship was created in honor of Professor Gerry Surette and is awarded annually to a continuing student either majoring in economics or showing a strong aptitude in economics; with a minimum GPA of 3.0 demonstrating an understanding in political economy; and having demonstrated financial need. # Award: One-time award of up to $1,000. # Application: Interested students must also complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as well. Please check with the foundation the availability of the scholarship. Giving limited to Cortland, NY.
