Scholarship Description

* Scholarship Type: Merit/Need-based. * Eligibility Criteria: This scholarship was established through many gifts from SUNY Cortlands alumni, emeriti, faculty, staff and friends in recognition of Jay Cummings many years of outstanding service as Assistant Director of SUNY Cortlands Outdoor Education Center at Raquette Lake. This program fund will be used by the professor in charge of the field biology courses taught at Raquette Lake to accomplish any of the following activities: stipends to fund program fees for students enrolled in the SUNY Cortland Field Biology courses (currently Biology 310 & 510), with demonstrated financial need with preference for students who apply with higher GPAs in Biology coursework. * Award: One-time award of up to $500. For students enrolled in the SUNY Cortland Field Biology courses (currently Biology 310 & 510). Giving limited to Cortland, NY.
