Scholarship Description
* Scholarship Type: Need-based. * Eligibility Criteria: Awarded to an entering freshman student. Preference given to a student from Long Island majoring in elementary education with demonstrated financial need. * Award: Annual award of $1,000 is available to freshmen for four years. * Continuation of Funding: Continuation of funding based on student remaining committed to the elementary education program, maintaining satisfactory academic progress and demonstrating need. * Availability: Check on availability. * Additional Application Material: Candidates must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.)
