Scholarship Description
* Scholarship Type: Merit/Need-based. * Eligibility Criteria: Awarded to an entering female freshman student majoring in physical education. A combination of academic achievements, leadership experience, involvement in extracurricular activities as well as demonstrated financial need serve as criteria for selection. * Award: Annual award of $500 is available to freshmen for four years. * Continuation of Funding: Continuation of funding based on student remaining committed to the physical education program and maintaining a 3.0 GPA beginning with the end of the first year and monitored annually. * Availability: Check on availability. * Additional Application Material: Candidates must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.) Giving limited to Cortland, NY.
