Scholarship Description
* Scholarship Type: Merit/Need-based. * Eligibility Criteria: Awarded to a newly accepted and incoming transfer student majoring in education and entering with at least 26 credits. Preference given to a candidate who has been involved in community service and has demonstrated financial need. * Award: Award of up to $1,000 is renewable. * Continuation of Funding: Based on student remaining committed to education major and maintaining a 3.0 GPA beginning with the end of the first year and monitored annually. * Availability: Check on availability. * Additional Application Material: Candidates must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.) Giving limited to Cortland, NY.
