Scholarship Description
* Scholarship Type: Merit/Need-based. * Eligibility Criteria: Awarded to an admitted freshman or transfer student majoring in the area of recreation who has demonstrated a strong record of community or school service activities and high academic achievement. Financial need may also be considered. * Award: Renewable award of up to $1,000 is available to a freshman for four years or a transfer student for two years. * Continuation of Funding: Based on student maintaining a 3.0 GPA, remaining a recreation major, and showing evidence of continued active involvement in the Cortland community. * Availability: Check on availability. * Additional Application Material: Candidates must fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.) Giving limited to Cortland, NY.
