* Scholarship Type: Merit/Need-based. * Eligibility Criteria: Awarded to an admitted freshman majoring in social studies or history. Preference given to residents of Cortland county who demonstrate financial need. * Award: Renewable award of $1,000 unless otherwise specified in award letter. * Continuation of Funding: Based on student remaining committed to a degree in social studies or history and maintaining a 2.7 GPA beginning with the end of the first year and monitored annually. * Availability: Check on availability.
