Scholarship Description
The Board of Directors and Staff of the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District established and funded a scholarship endowment in 2001. The mission of the Wabash County Solid Waste Management District is to reduce landfill disposal through integrated solid waste management and related environmental strategies, specifically emphasizing waste reduction, reuse, and recycling. The scholarship is provided to encourage study and advancement of the environmental education studies field. Scholarship Eligibility: Current Wabash County residents of two years or more who seek to pursue on a full-time basis a bachelors degree.
