Scholarship Description
Who should apply?
The Festival of Trees Scholarship program provides financial assistance to students pursuing studies in natural resources or horticulture with a preference for students from the seacoast region who are matriculating at one of New Hampshire’s colleges or universities.
Selection criteria:
Students must demonstrate:
The ability to succeed in a natural resources or horticultural course of study by maintaining a 2.5 grade point average for a minimum of one semester at one of New Hampshire’s colleges or universities.
Involvement in his/her community and/or school through extracurricular activities.
Some level of work experience that supports his/her career goals and aspirations in life.
Award availability:
Scholarships are awarded up to $2,000.
Award decisions
Scholarships will be presented in May at a meeting in Portsmouth.

The following materials must accompany your application in order for your package to be complete:
Your most recent, certified college transcript.
One letter of recommendation from a faculty member or instructor.
Please do not send materials separately. Incomplete applications or additional materials will not be reviewed.
