Scholarship Description
To provide financial assistance to ethnic minorities interested in working on a master’s degree in nursing. Amount Awarded: $3000 Number Awarded: 2 each year. Duration: 1 year. Eligibility: The candidate must 1) be a registered nurse with a demonstrated interest in and commitment to cancer nursing; 2) be enrolled in a graduate nursing degree program at an NLN-accredited school of nursing; 3) not have previously received a master’s scholarship from the Oncology Nursing Foundation; 4) have a current license to practice as a registered nurse; and 5) be a member of an ethnic minority group. Additional Information: Recipients may attend school on a part-time or full-time basis. At the end of each year of scholarship participation, recipients must submit a summary describing their educational activities.
