Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Associate Degree Nursing Scholarship Program is to increase the number of registered nurses practicing in medically underserved areas of California, and to support their articulation from an Associate Degree Nursing program to a Baccalaureate of Science Nursing Degree program. Scholarships are awarded to nursing students accepted to or enrolled in a Associate Degree Nursing programs in California and who agree to obtain a baccalaureate degree at a nursing program in California within five years of obtaining their associate degree in nursing. Eligible applicants may receive up to $8,000 per year, and would have a service obligation of 2 years.
