Scholarship Description
This award was funded by Mrs. Johanna Awes to serve as a testimony of God’s faithfulness to her husband and herself. The grants are awarded by the President of the Seminary to students meeting certain criteria. Such criteria include, but are not limited to: - high academic standing - full-time enrollment in the M.Div. degree program - status under care of a presbytery (or equivalent) as a student of theology - proven record of leadership ability - potential for leadership in the church of Christ The financial need of the student may also be considered. Such grants are normally given for one year, but may be given for two or more years based on the student’s performance.
