Scholarship Description
This scholarship provides support to graduating seniors of Harrison County schools who plan to major in English at IUS, where Patricia Laughlan-Ireland was an English Professor.Selections are based on application, criteria, and score sheet provided by HCCF to be used by the Scholarship Selection Committee. The criteria used to select scholarship recipients shall be related to the purpose of the scholarship and will include the following: academic performance, performance on a test designed to measure ability and aptitude for college work, attendance, extracurricular activities, work activities, volunteer activities, honors and awards, extenuating circumstances and personal insight essay.
