Scholarship Description
Criteria: The scholarship recipient must be a Bay County resident who is a full-time student at a public or private college/university in the State of Michigan. Priority will be given to a student entering their Junior orSenior year of study and majoring in a field related to developmental disabilities. The student’s grade point average must be 3.0 or better.* Student must have two letters of recommendation. At least one letter must be school related and one letter may be personal or professional.* Student must submit a 500 word essay replying to the question, “Why are you seeking a Bay Area Community Foundation scholarship? How will it make a difference in your life?”* Scholarship Application and ALL attachments must be submitted to the Bay Area Community Foundation by 4:30 pm on the first Monday in March.
