Scholarship Description
Saginaw County resident. Attending an accredited school or vocational education program part-time or full-time. Studying machine tool operations, industrial supervision, skilled trades or mechanical design technology in pursuit of an undergraduate degree, vocational certification or journeyman’s card. (Renewable on a competitive basis. The scholarship can be used for tuition, books, course-related fees and tools.) Evaluation Criteria: Demonstrated financial need and financial self-help; special skills and interests (skilled trades, fixing things, etc.); community/school involvement and work experience; career goals as demonstrated in essay; recommendations.
