Scholarship Description
This $2,500 scholarship is being awarded by ASNT to a student enrolled in course work related to nondestructive testing (NDT) in a program of study leading to an undergraduate degree, an associate degree or a post-secondary certificate. The scholarship is awarded to the student submitting the best original manuscript on nondestructive testing. The manuscript should develop an original concept in NDT and may be based on practical experience, laboratory work or library research. Papers may be classroom assignments for work outside NDT, such as an English class. Because the award may be made after the completion of studies, there is no requirement that the student use the funds for school expenses. It is not necessary for an applicant to attend ASNT’s Fall Conference to be eligible for the scholarship.
