Scholarship Description
Grants are made to high school and college undergraduate students to enable them to participate in field research in the natural sciences under the supervision of a qualified scientist. Although there is no strict limit, grants typically are in the range of several hundred to one thousand dollars. (In some cases grants will be co-funded by local chapters of The Explorers Club). Only a limited number of applicants from a single institution can expect to be funded in any year.
