Imation Computer Arts Scholarships

Scholarship Description

Each participating high school selects its top candidate and two runners-up for the first 1,000 students enrolled.  A second school candidates may be submitted for schools with more than 1,000 enrolled.  The artwork of your school’s top candidate(s) will be submitted to a national screening committee that will select the top 100 entries.  The top 100 entrants will be given National Certificates of Excellence.  A panel of art educators, museum and gallery directors, and technologists will then review the top 100 entries.  This panel will name the top 25 Distinguished Finalists, each of whom will receive a $1,000 scholarship, a medallion, a trophy for their school, and a trip with a parent, guardian, or school representative to Minneapolis/St. Paul, April 18-19, for national recongition events.  At the national recognition events, a panel of prominent artists, representatives from major media, academic and technology will select the top five entries.  The top five students each receive an additional $2,500, and their school’s art department will receive a gift from Imation.
