Scholarship Description
Eligibility
• Graduating senior from 26 northernmost counties of Texas Panhandle
• Exhibit financial need, community service, and leadership
• Be an active member in his/her local church
• Maintain a 2.0 or better cumulative GPA while in college
• Major in field of choice at Amarillo College or West Texas A&M University
• Be a “B” average student who works a full-time job while in high school
Application
• AAF General Scholarship Application - You must also submit a letter from your pastor or youth minister that addresses your involvement in your church
Award Selection
• AAF Scholarship Selection Committee and local community members
Scholarship Amount
• $1,000
• Renewable award pending committee review of renewal application
The annual application deadline is generally mid-February each year.
