Robert Price Memorial Scholarships

Scholarship Description

Scholarships are for members of the bleeding disorders community served by the Utah Hemophilia Foundation and/or the Intermountain Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center in Salt Lake City, including those who have a bleeding disorder, their spouses, siblings, children, and parents.

Preference may be given to applicants most directly affected by a bleeding disorder, those involved with UHF activities, those without other scholarships or financial assistance, and those who live in Utah.

To apply for these scholarships, you must submit the formal UHF Scholarship application, two essays, two letters of reference, and a copy of your latest transcripts. The application MUST be filled out by the applicant. Any part of an application or essay written by a third party will not be considered.

Your references should be provided by two people who know you well but are not relatives. Please consider professional references including teachers, employers, volunteer coordinators, or others who can adequately relate your specific strengths and qualities.

Scholarships range from $100 to $1500 and are intended for post-high school education and training. Therefore, only those who are already enrolled or are planning to enroll in a college, university, trade school, or technical program may apply. 

All awards must be used within the academic calendar year for which they are issued.
