Scholarship Description
The Jim Cristy Swimming Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to students who desire to participate in Kalamazoo County competitive swimming programs, but need financial assistance to do so.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students who are Kalamazoo County residents or attend an elementary middle or high school within Kalamazoo County are eligible to apply. Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident Alien. Must be recommended by a professional employee in their school system or a swimming instructor and meet academic eligibility standards for participation in athletics as defined by his or her school system (middle school and high schools students only). Must demonstrate financial need.
