The Austro-American Association of Boston is offering a scholarship of $1500. From all the applications received by April 1, the scholarship committee will chose a winner who best fulfills the requirements outlined below. An in-person interview may be requested.The focus of the work must be Austrian culture. Project areas may include: * History * Literature * Art * Architecture * Folk Customs * Music * Contemporary Life. All undergraduate, graduate students, and junior faculty at New England colleges and Universities are eligible to apply. There is no application form - applicants should submit the following information: * a detailed project proposal, including the reason for selecting it * curriculum vitae * two confidential letters of support from faculty members who know the applicant well and can comment on the feasibility of the project. The winner must be willing to offer a presentation of the project at an event of the Austro-American Association.
