Scholarship Description
The NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Committee is dedicated to promoting education and training as a means for individuals to increase the professionalism of their positions. To further this objective, NBAA created the Schedulers & Dispatchers Scholarship Fund in conjunction with several sponsors, each donating $5,000: ExxonMobil Aviation and the Avitats, Signature Flight Support, Universal Weather and Aviation Inc., Chevron Global Aviation, Air BP Aviation Services, Jeppesen DataPlan, AC-U-KWIK and Jet Aviation FBO & Charter Sales.Scholarship recipients will be announced at the NBAA Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference, which will be held in San Antonio, TX. Funds may be awarded for amounts up to $10,000 per applicant. The scholarship will be redeemable under the conditions established by NBAA and its sponsors. Scholarship recipients must complete all professional/educational training by February 1, 2012, or risk forfeit of the award. NBAA scholarship applicants are limited to receiving one award per person, per year.A completed application package, which includes application form, one essay, one resume and two letters of recommendation, must be received by NBAA no later than October 30, to be considered for the scholarship.
