Scholarship Description
In 1983, a non-traditional award was added to the health careers scholarship program of the Riverview Hospital Auxiliary. This scholarship is awarded each fall to a health career student, age twenty-five or older. The total amount is $1,500 distributed over two years. Eligibility: * Applicant must be age 25 or older and be a resident of South Wood County in the school districts of Wis. Rapids, Port Edwards, or Nekoosa. * Accepted or awaiting acceptance for full-time enrollment in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or technical college. * Applicant must be pursuing a career in one of the following eligible hospital-related careers: • Physical Therapy• Occupational Therapy• Medical Technology• X-Ray Technology• Respiratory Therapy• Nursing
