Scholarship Description
Purpose: Merit scholarships for exceptional academic and community service experience, offered as encouragement to students to attend outstanding colleges and universities in the United States. Eligibility: Original enrollees of CIRI and their direct lineal descendants. Should have a cumulative 3.7 GPA or better. Amount: $20,000, annual. Duration: One academic year (includes two semesters). Special features: Must be accepted or enrolled full-time in a 4-year undergraduate or graduate degree program with preference given in the fields of business, education, math, sciences, health services, and engineering. Special Excellence Scholarships may or may not be given at the discretion of the Education Awards Committee.
