Scholarship Description
The foundation awards college and vocational scholarships to Alaska Native shareholders of Bristol Bay Native Corporation. Established through funding received from Northern Dynasty Mines, Inc. to encourage further education or career advancement and interest in the mining industry. Eligibility Requirements: *BBNC shareholder *entering freshman enrolled as a full time student in an accredited college, university or vocational institution (preference given to graduates from the four Bristol Bay school districts) *cumulative 2.0 grade point average or better *able to show financial need.
