Scholarship Description
Established in memory of Dan H. Bowerman, general manager and editor of the Press Democrat for 20 years, this scholarship provides assistance to students residing in Sonoma County who are pursuing the study of journalism. Submit: _Two letters of recommendation from instructors or close associates (excluding relatives) _A 100 word essay on why you have chosen a career in journalism _A sample of your best writing for print.
