Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Youth for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Leadership Recognition Program is to recognize youth, ages 16 to 24, who are community leaders in promoting healthy adolescent sexuality and healthy lifestyle choices for other youth, and to support their health professions education. Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a health professions degree. Eligible applicants may receive up to $25,000 over a five-year period, and would have a service obligation of 2 years. This program is made possible by a grant from The California Wellness Foundation.
